POETRY
Paz Griot's poetry is written for the purpose of performance. He integrates elements of hip hop, Sufi poetry, rhythm, rhyme, and haiku for the form, style and images. His poetry draws inspiration from Zen Buddhist principles and practices and explore themes such as relationships, the AIDS epidemic, racism, homophobia, body image, spirituality, death, and travel.
